2025

End of Year Summary - 2025

2025 Highlights — Powered by Partnership

At the heart of Civic Results is a simple belief: meaningful change happens when local leaders work together. In 2025, that belief came to life through the extraordinary commitment of our mayors, elected officials, partners, and board of directors. We are sincerely grateful for your leadership, insight, and continued support.

Together, we advanced the work of the Metro Mayors Caucus, Municipal Leadership Academy, Building Bridges, and the Future Housing Coalition, which support communities across Colorado as they address complex challenges that do not stop at city boundaries.

Organizational Growth & Leadership

Thanks to your support, Civic Results strengthened our internal capacity to better serve our members and programs. We expanded our team, elevated staff into leadership roles, and increased our ability to respond to emerging needs. Our CEO, Heidi Williams, also had the opportunity to represent Colorado’s local governments at state and national conferences, including the Housing Colorado Conference and National League of Cities City Summit, ensuring your voices were heard beyond our borders.

Advocacy & Regional Impact

With guidance from our mayors and board, Civic Results actively engaged in state policy discussions affecting local communities. We tracked and weighed in on legislation impacting housing, transportation, and municipal authority, and supported middle housing legislation, including encouraging state legislative changes to progress construction defects laws —always grounded in the perspectives of leaders, local control and home rule authority.

Programs That Connect and Lead:

  • Metro Mayors Caucus: Convened 38 mayors across the Denver metro region to align on shared priorities and amplify local government voices
  • Municipal Leadership Academy: Fostered peer learning and leadership development for elected officials statewide – Grew to 15 participants in 2025 and gaining momentum for the 2026/2027 cohort. Tell your local elected leaders to apply!
  • Building Bridges: Created space for honest dialogue between local governments, businesses, nonprofits, and civic partners, including state legislators, home builders, and health care organizations.
  • Future Housing Coalition: Continued development of practical tools to help communities engage residents, modernize policies, and collaborate more effectively with developers on middle-housing education, development and financing.

Partnerships That Make It Possible

Our work would not be possible without the trust and collaboration of our partners across sectors. We are especially grateful to our sponsors and the organizations that consistently show up, share expertise, and help us move ideas into action.

With Gratitude, Looking Ahead

As we look toward 2026, we do so with deep appreciation for everyone who contributes time, expertise, and leadership to Civic Results. Thank you for being part of this work and for helping us build stronger, more connected communities across Colorado.
